There are a couple of you who were talking about the zone banner stuff for GetContinuum.com and I hadn't really said anything because we've been working on some potential logos and I wanted to work that into whatever official graphics we have for the zone. So far we've come up with two different designs:

What do you guys think about both or either of these? Also, if you have your own idea for a logo you can attach them here in SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) form. If you don't have software that can make SVGs, you should try out Inkscape.

i just think it looks weird b/c the H looks so far away from the rest of the word

I think spacing guild would look great if the H was more distinct from the rings around it (perhaps make the rings more gray...?)

#2, because lollipops do not make good logos.

Also, what the !@#$%^&* is up with this trend for vector graphics lately? THEY SUCK. Yes, they're good at resizing stuff, but you don't have the same flexibility for effects and style that you do with bitmaps. And realistically, how often do you need to resize this thing?

Logos aren't supposed to have fancy effects. Also, you can always convert a vector format directly into a raster format but not the other way around.
