There is always a time when you realize there is a human behind that little ship moving around and typing back at you. Not just some AI, or some preprogrammed response. Luckily a lot of times, it is when SS Players get together to hang out, have a drink, goto a game, give each other a hand, or just meet up for any random reason. But sadly, over the many years, there has also been the times when that ship will never log in again.

White_0men was a long time Player, HZ Community Member, and Former Staffer. I think it shows how much he touched his community as a human being more than just another ship or player by their response to his death. The thread continues to grow with condolences, and people giving their stories and accounts of him. The HZ Community has even setup a Memorial Fund for his family to show that he meant a lot to their community, and they knew him as more than just another player.

A senseless act of violence took another person's life. Even though the news story comments are controversial due to his job, he was a good person, always one to say Hi, and talk for a while. Noone deserves to die the way he did, regardless of anyone's personal beliefs.
